This market is about a single Counter-Strike opening-round match at IEM Cologne Major Stage 2: 9z versus FlyQuest in a best-of-one. Because one map decides it, small differences in preparation, veto comfort, and form can matter more here than in a longer series.
The question is straightforward: which team wins the Round 1 BO1 between 9z and FlyQuest at the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, originally scheduled for June 6 at 8:30AM ET. The market resolves to 9z if 9z win the match, FlyQuest if FlyQuest win, and it has special fallback rules if the match is not played, ends tied, or is delayed too long without a winner. The official source for resolution is HLTV, with a backup to credible reporting if final results are not posted there within the stated window.
A best-of-one can be volatile in Counter-Strike, especially in a major-stage setting where teams may be meeting under tournament pressure and one map pool decision can swing the result. 9z and FlyQuest are both recognizable international rosters, and this kind of matchup draws attention because the outcome can hinge on map choice, start-side advantage, and how well each team handles a short format. The market is pricing disagreement over which side is better positioned to survive a single-map opener.
Any confirmed roster change, substitution, or last-minute lineup issue can move this market quickly, since a BO1 is sensitive to who actually plays. Map veto information matters too: if the scheduled map or veto pattern strongly favors one team’s comfort picks, that can shift expectations before the match starts. In-match factors such as a fast early lead, an overtime game, or signs that one team is struggling on its own pick would also move the price if the market is still live.
The current market price implies roughly a 100% chance for the leading outcome, based on live Polymarket pricing. That number is not a prediction from PredictionNinja and it is not a guarantee; it is the current crowd-priced view of the market and can change quickly when new information appears.

View marketBefore the market settles, readers should verify that the match was actually played and completed, because the rules treat cancellations, delays beyond seven days, and some forfeiture scenarios differently. HLTV is the primary source of truth for the final official result, so it is worth checking that page after the match ends and confirming whether the result is a normal win, a forfeit, or a no-contest situation. The end date shown on the page and the stated resolution rules matter most if the schedule changes or if the match begins but cannot be finished.

This market is currently listed with an end date of Jun 6, 2026. Market timelines can change if the underlying event is postponed, rescheduled, or resolved early.
This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 1 match between 9z and FlyQuest in the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, initially scheduled for June 6 at 8:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "9z" if 9z win the match against FlyQuest. This market will resolve to "FlyQuest" if FlyQuest win the match against 9z. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
