This market is about the first map in the Counter-Strike 2 match between B8 and GamerLegion at IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, scheduled for June 7 at 11:20 AM ET. It does not ask who wins the map or the match overall; it only asks whether B8’s Map 1 round margin is at least four rounds, or whether GamerLegion covers the +3.5 handicap.
The named teams here are B8 and GamerLegion, two CS2 lineups meeting in a high-stakes Major stage where map-by-map performance matters. The title refers specifically to a Map 1 rounds handicap: B8 must win that opening map by 4 or more rounds for the market to resolve to B8, while any smaller margin, including a GamerLegion map win, resolves to GamerLegion. Because the description ties resolution to rounds actually played on Map 1, the result is separate from the series score and separate from what happens later in the match.
A map handicap market like this exists because even when one team is favored, the size of the margin can still be uncertain. In CS2, vetoes, map pools, and opening-round momentum can create a close map even in matches where one side is expected to have the edge, so traders focus on whether the favorite can separate by enough rounds rather than simply take the map. The current pricing strongly leans toward GamerLegion, which suggests the market expects B8 to have trouble creating a four-round buffer on the first map.
The biggest price moves will usually come from the map veto and the actual first-map selection, since some maps are much better for one roster than another. Any confirmed roster change, late substitution, technical issue, or sign of a defaulted or shortened map would matter a lot because this market resolves from rounds played on Map 1 only. Once the map begins, early pistol rounds, force-buy conversions, and whether the underdog keeps the score close can quickly shift expectations around the -3.5 handicap.

View marketThe current market price implies roughly a 0% chance for the leading outcome, based on live Polymarket pricing. That number is not a prediction from PredictionNinja and it is not a guarantee; it is the current crowd-priced view of the market and can change quickly when new information appears.
Readers should check that Map 1 is actually played to completion, because the rules say an unfinished map, a forfeit, a walkover, or a defaulted result resolves 50-50 instead of to either side. The official source of truth is HLTV, and the market only uses final map-round results from that source once the match is complete. The scheduled start time is June 7 at 11:20 AM ET, but if the match is delayed beyond seven days without a completed Map 1, the market also resolves 50-50, so the key detail to verify is whether a full first map was completed and officially recorded.

This market is currently listed with an end date of Jun 7, 2026. Market timelines can change if the underlying event is postponed, rescheduled, or resolved early.
This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between B8 and GamerLegion in the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, initially scheduled for June 7 at 11:20AM ET. This market is decided solely by the round score of Map 1 of this match, and is independent of which team wins Map 1 or the overall match. This market will resolve to "B8" if B8 wins Map 1 by 4 or more rounds, including any overtime (i.e. B8's round total on Map 1 exceeds GamerLegion's by 4 or more). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "GamerLegion". Map 1 must be played to completion, with a final round score determined by rounds actually played, for this market to resolve to a team. If Map 1 is completed in this way, the market resolves on that round score regardless of how the remainder of the match concludes (including any later forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default). If Map 1 is not played at all, is not played to completion, or is decided by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default rather than by rounds played to a conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50. If the match is canceled, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without Map 1 being completed, this market will resolve 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead, including video evidence.
