This market is about a best-of-three Counter-Strike match between B8 and GamerLegion in IEM Cologne Major Stage 2. The matchup matters because a BO3 in a major-stage setting is long enough for vetoes, map pools, and mid-series adjustments to shape the result, so a single map upset can change the whole outcome.
The specific event is the Round 3 match listed as B8 vs GamerLegion in IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, initially scheduled for June 7 at 10:30 AM ET. The market resolves to B8 if B8 win the match, or to GamerLegion if GamerLegion win; if the match is canceled, ends in a tie, or is delayed by more than seven days without a winner, it resolves 50-50. It also uses the stated special rules for forfeits, disqualifications, and walkovers, so readers should pay close attention to whether the match is actually completed and how the result is recorded.
There is genuine uncertainty here because Counter-Strike series can swing on the map veto, side balance, player form, and how well each team adapts across a full BO3. B8 and GamerLegion are both named teams with enough profile to draw interest, but the market is really pricing a concrete question: which roster will come through in this specific Stage 2 major match. The listed prices suggest the field sees B8 as a modest favorite, but the margin is not large enough to make the result feel settled.
Any confirmed change to the scheduled match status, lineup, or format can move this market quickly, especially if one team announces a substitute or a roster issue before the series starts. In-play, the map veto and the first map result can matter a lot in a BO3, since teams often have clear comfort maps and a losing start can force more difficult picks later in the series. If the match is postponed, moved, or ruled by a forfeit or walkover, those details matter directly because the market has explicit resolution rules for unfinished or non-played matches.

View marketThe current market price implies roughly a 43% chance for the leading outcome, based on live Polymarket pricing. That number is not a prediction from PredictionNinja and it is not a guarantee; it is the current crowd-priced view of the market and can change quickly when new information appears.
Before this market resolves, the key thing to verify is the official HLTV match page and final result for B8 vs GamerLegion, since HLTV is the stated source of truth. Readers should also check whether the match was fully played, whether there was a forfeit or disqualification, and whether the result was recorded as a completed BO3 rather than a technical ruling. If the event slips beyond the seven-day window without a winner, or if the match is not played at all, the market’s 50-50 clause becomes relevant, so the status and timing are just as important as the scoreline.

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 3 match between B8 and GamerLegion in the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, initially scheduled for June 7 at 10:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "B8" if B8 win the match against GamerLegion. This market will resolve to "GamerLegion" if GamerLegion win the match against B8. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
