This market is about the first map of a Counter-Strike match between BetBoom Team and M80 at IEM Cologne Major Stage 2. The key question is not who wins the match, but whether BetBoom Team clears a 6.5-round handicap on Map 1, which means winning that map by seven rounds or more.
The title names a Map 1 rounds handicap: BetBoom Team (-6.5) vs M80 (+6.5). According to the market rules, BetBoom Team wins the market if it takes Map 1 by at least seven rounds, including overtime; otherwise the market resolves to M80. The match is listed for June 7 at 10:20AM ET, and the official result source is HLTV, with the market only depending on the final round score on Map 1.
A map handicap is a narrower question than a straight match winner line, because a team can win the map without covering a large round margin. In esports, that margin can swing on map choice, side balance, pistol rounds, economy resets, and whether one team can keep losses close even in a defeat. That is why the market is really pricing the chance that BetBoom Team produces a dominant opening map rather than just edging M80.
The biggest price-moving events are the map veto, the starting sides, and any signs that one lineup is especially comfortable on the selected map. Late roster changes, stand-ins, or other lineup issues would matter a lot here because a handicap depends on how cleanly one team can close rounds, not just on match outcome. If the map goes to overtime, that also changes the handicap math, since the market still settles on total rounds actually played on Map 1.
The current market price implies roughly a 100% chance for the leading outcome, based on live Polymarket pricing. That number is not a prediction from PredictionNinja and it is not a guarantee; it is the current crowd-priced view of the market and can change quickly when new information appears.

View marketReaders should verify that Map 1 is actually played to completion, because the rules say a forfeit, walkover, default, cancellation, or an uncompleted map resolves 50-50. The source of truth is HLTV, and the market notes a backup rule if final results are not posted within two hours after the event concludes. The most important ambiguity to watch is whether the match starts as scheduled and whether Map 1 reaches a full final round score, since only that score determines the outcome.

This market is currently listed with an end date of Jun 7, 2026. Market timelines can change if the underlying event is postponed, rescheduled, or resolved early.
This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between BetBoom Team and M80 in the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, initially scheduled for June 7 at 10:20AM ET. This market is decided solely by the round score of Map 1 of this match, and is independent of which team wins Map 1 or the overall match. This market will resolve to "BetBoom Team" if BetBoom Team wins Map 1 by 7 or more rounds, including any overtime (i.e. BetBoom Team's round total on Map 1 exceeds M80's by 7 or more). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "M80". Map 1 must be played to completion, with a final round score determined by rounds actually played, for this market to resolve to a team. If Map 1 is completed in this way, the market resolves on that round score regardless of how the remainder of the match concludes (including any later forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default). If Map 1 is not played at all, is not played to completion, or is decided by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default rather than by rounds played to a conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50. If the match is canceled, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without Map 1 being completed, this market will resolve 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead, including video evidence.
