This market is about a single best-of-one Counter-Strike match: FUT Esports vs B8 in Round 1 of IEM Cologne Major Stage 2. Because it is a BO1, one map decides the result, which makes early-round seeding and map choice especially important. The page is tracking which team officially wins that match, with resolution tied to HLTV and fallback rules if the match is delayed, canceled, or not completed as described in the market rules.
The question here is straightforward: will FUT Esports or B8 win their Round 1 meeting at IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, scheduled for June 6 at 6:30 AM ET? The market resolves to FUT Esports if they win the match, and to B8 if B8 win. This is a BO1, so there is no second map to recover from a slow start, and the result will be based on the actual match outcome rather than team names alone. The resolution source is official information from HLTV, with a secondary consensus process only if HLTV has not posted final results within two hours after the event concludes.
FUT Esports and B8 are not household names outside Counter-Strike, which is part of why a market like this can stay uncertain even close to match time. In esports, especially in a single-map format, roster form, veto outcomes, and stylistic matchups can matter a lot more than the broader reputation of a team. The uncertainty also comes from tournament context: IEM Cologne Major Stage 2 is a high-stakes stage, and Round 1 sets the tone for advancement. Because BO1 results can swing on one strong half, an early mistake, a sharp pistol round, or a favorable map can change the entire outcome.
Anything that affects the expected winner of this specific BO1 can move the market: official roster confirmations, substitution notices, and last-minute player availability are especially important in Counter-Strike. Map veto information can matter too, since a team may be much stronger on certain maps and a BO1 leaves no room for a bad pick to be corrected later. Tournament-format details and schedule changes can also matter. If the match is delayed, rescheduled, or affected by a forfeit or walkover, the market’s rules become more important than the in-game expectations, because the settlement outcome may depend on whether the game was played to a finished result.

View marketThe current market price implies roughly a 100% chance for the leading outcome, based on live Polymarket pricing. That number is not a prediction from PredictionNinja and it is not a guarantee; it is the current crowd-priced view of the market and can change quickly when new information appears.
Before resolution, the key thing to verify is whether HLTV publishes a final match result for FUT Esports vs B8 and whether that result is marked as complete rather than abandoned or unresolved. Since the market is tied to an official source, the exact winner recorded by HLTV should control unless the fallback language in the rules is triggered. Readers should also watch for any unusual ending: if the match is not played, ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond seven days without a winner, the market resolves to 50-50 under the posted rules. If a team is withdrawn before the start, or if the match begins but ends through forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, the specific rule language determines whether the market pays the winner or falls back to 50-50, so those distinctions matter.

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 1 match between FUT Esports and B8 in the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, initially scheduled for June 6 at 6:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "FUT Esports" if FUT Esports win the match against B8. This market will resolve to "B8" if B8 win the match against FUT Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
