This market asks a simple question about the first map between G2 and M80 at IEM Cologne Major Stage 2: will Map 1 have more or fewer than 18.5 total rounds played? In Counter-Strike, that line usually separates a quick regulation win from a longer, tighter map, so Map 1 pace and competitiveness are the key things to watch.
The event is the Counter-Strike match G2 vs. M80 in the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, with Map 1 scheduled for June 6 at 8:45 AM ET. The outcome depends only on the total number of rounds on that one map, counting both teams’ rounds together and including overtime if it happens, not on which team wins the map or the match. If Map 1 is not played to completion, or the match is decided by forfeit, walkover, disqualification, cancellation, or a long delay without a completed map, the market resolves 50-50 under the stated rules.
A 18.5-round line is interesting because a standard regulation Counter-Strike map can end anywhere from a one-sided 13-0 type result to a close 13-11 or overtime game, and those different paths create very different round totals. G2 is generally a familiar top-level European name, while M80 is a North American roster that can make the map feel more uncertain, so traders are effectively judging whether the matchup is likely to be short or competitive. The market is pricing disagreement over map closeness, not just who advances.
Anything that changes expectations for a fast 13-round finish versus a closer map can move this market, especially the veto or the chosen Map 1 pick if that becomes known before play. Roster or role changes, a last-minute stand-in, or signs that one team is playing on a strong or weak map can also matter because they affect whether the first map looks one-sided or balanced. During the match, early pistol rounds, economy swings, and whether the score is staying near 6-6, 8-4, or 10-2 are the kinds of live developments that make an over or under more likely.

View marketThe current market price implies roughly a 100% chance for the leading outcome, based on live Polymarket pricing. That number is not a prediction from PredictionNinja and it is not a guarantee; it is the current crowd-priced view of the market and can change quickly when new information appears.
Before the market resolves, the main thing to verify is that Map 1 is actually completed and that the final round count comes from the official match result rather than a cancellation or default. Because the line includes overtime, a map that reaches 12-12 and then continues can easily push the total above 18.5, so the presence or absence of overtime matters a lot. Readers should also check that the result source matches the rules for this market and that they are looking only at Map 1, not the full series score.

This market is currently listed with an end date of Jun 6, 2026. Market timelines can change if the underlying event is postponed, rescheduled, or resolved early.
This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between G2 and M80 in the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, initially scheduled for June 6 at 8:45AM ET. This market is decided solely by the total number of rounds played within Map 1 of this match (the combined round score of both teams on that single map), and is independent of which team wins Map 1 or the overall match. This market will resolve to "Over" if the combined number of rounds played by both teams on Map 1, including any overtime, is greater than 18.5. This market will resolve to "Under" if the combined number of rounds played is less than 18.5. If the combined number of rounds played is exactly 18.5, this market will resolve 50-50. Map 1 must be played to completion, with a final round score determined by rounds actually played, for this market to resolve to "Over" or "Under". If Map 1 is completed in this way, the market resolves on that round total regardless of how the remainder of the match concludes (including any later forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default). If Map 1 is not played at all, is not played to completion, or is decided by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default rather than by rounds played to a conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50. If the match is canceled, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without Map 1 being completed, this market will resolve 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead, including video evidence.
