This market is about whether paiN can win Map 1 against TYLOO by at least four rounds in their IEM Cologne Major Stage 2 match. Because the settlement depends only on the first map’s round margin, it can be decided even if the rest of the match goes a different way. That makes the opening map especially important for anyone watching vetoes, side choice, and how the teams start on the server.
The event is the Counter-Strike match paiN vs TYLOO at the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, with the scheduled start listed as June 6 at 7:30AM ET and an end date shown later that same day. The question is not who wins the match, but whether paiN’s Map 1 round total finishes at least four higher than TYLOO’s; if so, the market resolves to paiN, and otherwise it resolves to TYLOO. Because this is a handicap on rounds, a narrow Map 1 win for either side still counts against paiN unless the margin reaches four or more.
Map handicaps create uncertainty even when one team may be favored overall, because a team can win a map without covering a round spread. In a Counter-Strike Major setting, readers may care about how stable each lineup looks in the opening map, whether one side gets a favorable map pick, and whether the matchup is likely to be close or lopsided on a single map. The market is effectively pricing disagreement about Map 1 margin, not just match winner, so a competitive map can matter just as much as a dominant one.
The biggest price moves will usually come from official match details that affect Map 1 specifically: the map veto, which team picks first, and whether either side has a clear comfort map. Any roster change, player absence, or role change before kickoff can also matter because it can alter how cleanly a team converts rounds on its own pick. Once the map begins, early CT/T-side momentum, pistol-round results, and whether the score stays tight or opens up are the main in-match signals that would shift expectations for a four-round handicap.

View marketThe current market price implies roughly a 0% chance for the leading outcome, based on live Polymarket pricing. That number is not a prediction from PredictionNinja and it is not a guarantee; it is the current crowd-priced view of the market and can change quickly when new information appears.
Readers should verify that Map 1 is actually played to completion, because the rules say a forfeit, default, walkover, or incomplete map resolves 50-50 instead of to either team. The official source of truth is HLTV, and the market also allows a fallback consensus process if HLTV has not posted final results within two hours after the event ends. The key ambiguity to watch is the exact Map 1 round score after overtime, since the handicap is based on rounds actually played and not on who wins the map or the match.

This market is currently listed with an end date of Jun 6, 2026. Market timelines can change if the underlying event is postponed, rescheduled, or resolved early.
This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between paiN and TYLOO in the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, initially scheduled for June 6 at 7:30AM ET. This market is decided solely by the round score of Map 1 of this match, and is independent of which team wins Map 1 or the overall match. This market will resolve to "paiN" if paiN wins Map 1 by 4 or more rounds, including any overtime (i.e. paiN's round total on Map 1 exceeds TYLOO's by 4 or more). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "TYLOO". Map 1 must be played to completion, with a final round score determined by rounds actually played, for this market to resolve to a team. If Map 1 is completed in this way, the market resolves on that round score regardless of how the remainder of the match concludes (including any later forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default). If Map 1 is not played at all, is not played to completion, or is decided by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default rather than by rounds played to a conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50. If the match is canceled, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without Map 1 being completed, this market will resolve 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead, including video evidence.
