This market is about the Dota 2 lower bracket final at the BLAST Slam Playoffs, where LGD Gaming and BetBoom Team are set to meet in a series that matters because the handicap is based on the game margin, not just the match winner. The page is asking which side will finish the match at least two games ahead once the series is completed.
The title, “Game Handicap: LGD (-1.5) vs BetBoom Team (+1.5),” means the result is judged by how many games separate the two teams at the end of the match. Under the rules, LGD Gaming wins the market only if it finishes the series at least two games better than BetBoom Team; otherwise BetBoom Team is the resolution. The market is tied to the Dota 2 Lower bracket final in the BLAST Slam Playoffs, initially scheduled for June 7 at 5:00AM ET, and the official resolution source is Dotabuff, with a fallback to credible reporting if final results are not posted quickly enough.
Handicap markets like this are sensitive to series format, roster strength, and the chance of a close result. A lower-bracket final can be especially volatile because both teams are still alive in the playoff run, and a single map swing can decide whether the handicap is covered. Readers watching this market should focus on whether LGD can win by a wide enough margin to clear the -1.5 line, or whether BetBoom can keep the series close enough to stay within +1.5.
The biggest drivers here are the announced lineup, the exact series format, and any late information about substitutes, pauses, or format changes from the tournament organizer. In Dota 2, patch conditions and draft trends can matter a lot, so a team that is favored in a best-of series may still struggle to cover a two-game handicap if the maps are competitive. Because the market uses a margin threshold, an early 1-0 or 2-0 scoreline in a best-of-three would be decisive, while in a longer series the pace and map count become even more important.

View marketThe current market price implies roughly a 0% chance for the leading outcome, based on live Polymarket pricing. That number is not a prediction from PredictionNinja and it is not a guarantee; it is the current crowd-priced view of the market and can change quickly when new information appears.
Before the market resolves, check that the match is actually completed and that the result is posted on Dotabuff or, if needed, supported by other credible match evidence. The rule details matter: forfeits, disqualifications, walkovers, and defaults count toward the handicap if the match is completed, but a canceled match, a tie, or a prolonged delay without a winner can trigger a 50-50 outcome. Also verify the exact scheduled start and whether the event has been delayed, because the resolution window depends on the June 7 listing and the 7-day cutoff in the rules.

This market is currently listed with an end date of Jun 7, 2026. Market timelines can change if the underlying event is postponed, rescheduled, or resolved early.
This market refers to the Dota 2 Lower bracket final match between BetBoom Team and LGD Gaming in the BLAST Slam Playoffs, initially scheduled for June 7 at 5:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "LGD Gaming" if LGD Gaming wins 2 or more games than BetBoom Team in this match. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "BetBoom Team". Games won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default are counted towards the handicap, provided that the match is completed. If the match is canceled (not played at all for any reason), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's match forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match ends due to the clinching game being forfeited this will count as a completed match. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://www.dotabuff.com. However, if https://www.dotabuff.com has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.
