This market asks whether EDward Gaming will finish as the official winner of the 2026 League of Legends Pro League season. It is worth watching because the LPL is one of the major League of Legends regions, and the outcome depends on how EDG performs across the full season, not just a single match.
EDward Gaming, usually called EDG, is a Chinese esports organization competing in League of Legends’ LPL, the top professional league in China. The question here is simple: when the 2026 LPL season is officially completed, will EDG be named the winner? The market resolves using the league organizers’ official result, and if the season is delayed past December 31, 2026, canceled, or ends without a declared champion, it resolves to “Other.”
A season-long championship is hard to judge far in advance because roster moves, coaching changes, patch changes, and bracket format all affect which team can get through the year. EDward Gaming is a familiar name to LPL followers, but a title run still depends on staying competitive through the whole season and across whatever playoff structure the league uses. The market is pricing the gap between EDG’s brand recognition and the reality that many other teams can contend for an LPL championship.
The biggest price moves would come from EDG’s roster being strengthened or weakened before or during the 2026 season, especially if a star player joins, leaves, or is inactive. Changes to the LPL format, playoff path, or the in-game patch/meta can also matter a lot in League of Legends, since some teams are built for certain styles more than others. Strong regular-season results, a deep playoff run, or official championship confirmation would support the Yes side, while early elimination, major roster instability, or a clearly stronger rival field would push it the other way.

View marketThe current market price implies roughly a 0% chance for the leading outcome, based on live Polymarket pricing. That number is not a prediction from PredictionNinja and it is not a guarantee; it is the current crowd-priced view of the market and can change quickly when new information appears.
The key source of truth is the official LPL organizer announcement of the 2026 season winner, with credible reporting only as a fallback if needed. Readers should check whether the league finishes before the December 31, 2026 deadline, because postponement or cancellation changes the resolution to “Other.” It is also worth watching for any unusual season format or tie scenario, since the rules say that if multiple teams are declared winner, the team name that comes first alphabetically is used for resolution.
