This market is about a best-of-three Counter-Strike match between Astralis and paiN at IEM Cologne Major Stage 2. The match matters because Stage 2 results can decide who stays alive in the tournament and who moves deeper into the bracket, so even one BO3 can carry a lot of weight for both teams.
The specific question is simple: which team wins the Round 4 match, Astralis or paiN, in IEM Cologne Major Stage 2. The market is scheduled around June 8 at 8:00 AM ET, and it resolves to the team that wins the official match result. If the match is canceled, never played, ends in a tie, or is delayed more than seven days without a winner, the market resolves 50-50 under the stated rules.
A BO3 in a Major stage can swing on map vetoes, form on the day, and whether one roster handles the pressure better over multiple maps. Astralis is a well-known European CS brand with a long competitive history, while paiN represents a strong Brazilian Counter-Strike scene, so the matchup draws interest across regions and fan bases. The market is pricing disagreement over which team is more likely to adapt across three maps and survive the pressure of a Major-stage round.
The biggest price movers are official roster or standby changes, confirmed map vetoes, and any schedule changes that affect whether the series is played as listed. If one team fields a substitute, shows signs of a late withdrawal, or is reported to have a walkover scenario before the start, that would matter immediately because the rules treat pre-match and in-match non-completions differently. A completed series result from HLTV is the main trigger for resolution, so any official bracket update or result page change will be the key signal to watch.
The current market price implies roughly a 0% chance for the leading outcome, based on live Polymarket pricing. That number is not a prediction from PredictionNinja and it is not a guarantee; it is the current crowd-priced view of the market and can change quickly when new information appears.

View marketReaders should verify that the match actually starts, that it is still listed as a BO3, and that the official result on HLTV matches the team named in this market. The resolution rules are especially important here because a match that is canceled, never played, or delayed past the seven-day window can resolve 50-50 instead of to either team. If there is any abbreviation, spelling, or roster-name discrepancy, the market says the underlying real-world match controls, not the exact text label.

This market is currently listed with an end date of Jun 8, 2026. Market timelines can change if the underlying event is postponed, rescheduled, or resolved early.
This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 4 match between Astralis and paiN in the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, initially scheduled for June 8 at 8:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Astralis" if Astralis win the match against paiN. This market will resolve to "paiN" if paiN win the match against Astralis. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
