This market asks whether BetBoom Team can win Map 2 against Monte by at least four rounds in their IEM Cologne Major Stage 2 match. Because the bet is tied only to the second map’s final round margin, it can be decided even if the overall series ends differently. The live market is priced with a strong lean toward Monte, so the key issue is whether BetBoom can create a clear enough gap on that one map.
The event is a Counter-Strike match between BetBoom Team and Monte at the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, initially scheduled for June 8 at 10:30 AM ET. Resolution depends only on the round score of Map 2: BetBoom Team must win that map by 4 or more rounds for the market to resolve to BetBoom Team, and anything smaller or any Monte win resolves to Monte. The match result itself does not matter for this market unless Map 2 is actually completed and scored by rounds played.
A handicap on a single map creates a narrower question than the series winner, because one team can look competitive overall without covering a 3.5-round line. In CS2, map choice, side starts, pistol-round swings, and overtime can all affect the final margin, so the market is really pricing how decisive Map 2 will be rather than who is best in the match. Readers are watching whether BetBoom can keep Monte within a close score or whether Monte can separate enough to clear the handicap.
The biggest drivers are the official map veto and the actual Map 2 result, since certain maps can favor one team’s style more than another’s. Any roster change, substitution, or late match-format update before the game would matter because this is a map-specific handicap, not a full-series market. If the match goes to overtime, that can also change whether the final round difference clears the 3.5 line, so a long or close Map 2 would keep the outcome in play until the last round.

View marketThe current market price implies roughly a 0% chance for the leading outcome, based on live Polymarket pricing. That number is not a prediction from PredictionNinja and it is not a guarantee; it is the current crowd-priced view of the market and can change quickly when new information appears.
The main source of truth is HLTV official match information, which the market uses for final results. Before resolution, readers should confirm that Map 2 is actually played to completion, because a map decided by forfeit, default, walkover, disqualification, or cancellation resolves 50-50 under the market rules. The scheduled start time is June 8 at 10:30 AM ET, and if the match is delayed beyond seven days without Map 2 being completed, that also resolves 50-50. If HLTV has not posted final results within the stated post-event window, the market may rely on the alternative resolution rule in the description, so the completed Map 2 score is the key detail to verify.

This market is currently listed with an end date of Jun 8, 2026. Market timelines can change if the underlying event is postponed, rescheduled, or resolved early.
This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between BetBoom Team and Monte in the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, initially scheduled for June 8 at 10:30AM ET. This market is decided solely by the round score of Map 2 of this match, and is independent of which team wins Map 2 or the overall match. This market will resolve to "BetBoom Team" if BetBoom Team wins Map 2 by 4 or more rounds, including any overtime (i.e. BetBoom Team's round total on Map 2 exceeds Monte's by 4 or more). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Monte". Map 2 must be played to completion, with a final round score determined by rounds actually played, for this market to resolve to a team. If Map 2 is completed in this way, the market resolves on that round score regardless of how the remainder of the match concludes (including any later forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default). If Map 2 is not played at all, is not played to completion, or is decided by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default rather than by rounds played to a conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50. If the match is canceled, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without Map 2 being completed, this market will resolve 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead, including video evidence.
