This market is about the second map in Monte vs BetBoom Team at the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, with the question narrowed to the round margin on Map 2 rather than the match winner. In other words, the key issue is whether Monte can win that map by at least seven rounds, which is a much stricter test than simply taking the map. Because the market depends on one specific map score, it can move sharply on draft, map vetoes, and how close the game looks late in the map.
The title “Map 2 Rounds Handicap: Monte (-6.5) vs BetBoom Team (+6.5)” means Monte must finish Map 2 ahead by 7 or more rounds for Monte to resolve, while any smaller margin resolves to BetBoom Team. The market description says the match was initially scheduled for June 8 at 10:30AM ET and that Map 2 must be played to completion with a normal round score for the result to count. If Map 2 is not completed, is decided by forfeit or default, or the match is canceled or delayed too long, the market resolves 50-50 instead of picking a side.
A round handicap market like this is about more than who wins a map: it prices the chance of a dominant or lopsided Map 2 from Monte. That matters in Counter-Strike because map pool strength, veto order, side balance, and recent team form can all affect whether a team wins narrowly or by a wide margin. The split in the market suggests readers are weighing whether Monte can control the map cleanly enough to cover the handicap, not just take the map outright.
The biggest drivers are the official map veto, the confirmed Map 2 pick, and any roster or stand-in changes that affect how each team performs on specific maps. If the first map goes long or the series shows one side struggling to convert rounds, that can change expectations for whether Monte can build a 7-round cushion on Map 2. In-play scorelines matter most here: a fast CT-side start, a string of force-buy wins, or an overtime threat can all move the price because this market is settled by the final round margin on that one map.

View marketThe current market price implies roughly a 100% chance for the leading outcome, based on live Polymarket pricing. That number is not a prediction from PredictionNinja and it is not a guarantee; it is the current crowd-priced view of the market and can change quickly when new information appears.
Readers should check the official HLTV match page for the final Map 2 round score, because that is the source of truth named in the rules. The important detail is that the map has to be completed normally; if it ends by forfeit, walkover, default, cancellation, or a delay beyond seven days without completion, the market does not resolve to a team. Since the description is truncated after noting HLTV’s final-results timing, it is also worth verifying that the match was completed and that the official Map 2 score is final before treating the market as settled.

This market is currently listed with an end date of Jun 8, 2026. Market timelines can change if the underlying event is postponed, rescheduled, or resolved early.
This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between Monte and BetBoom Team in the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, initially scheduled for June 8 at 10:30AM ET. This market is decided solely by the round score of Map 2 of this match, and is independent of which team wins Map 2 or the overall match. This market will resolve to "Monte" if Monte wins Map 2 by 7 or more rounds, including any overtime (i.e. Monte's round total on Map 2 exceeds BetBoom Team's by 7 or more). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "BetBoom Team". Map 2 must be played to completion, with a final round score determined by rounds actually played, for this market to resolve to a team. If Map 2 is completed in this way, the market resolves on that round score regardless of how the remainder of the match concludes (including any later forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default). If Map 2 is not played at all, is not played to completion, or is decided by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default rather than by rounds played to a conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50. If the match is canceled, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without Map 2 being completed, this market will resolve 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead, including video evidence.
