This market asks a very specific Counter-Strike question: how Map 2 of Monte vs BetBoom Team at the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2 will finish on the round scoreboard. Because the outcome depends only on the second map’s final round differential, it can resolve differently from the match winner itself, which makes the map veto and map performance especially important. The market is currently priced very heavily toward BetBoom Team, signaling that traders expect Monte to fail to win Map 2 by 10 or more rounds.
The title sets a handicap of Monte (-9.5) versus BetBoom Team (+9.5) on Map 2, which means Monte must win the second map by at least 10 rounds for Monte to be the resolving side. If Monte wins Map 2 by 9 rounds or fewer, or if BetBoom Team wins the map outright, the market resolves to BetBoom Team. The match is listed for June 8 at 10:30 AM ET in the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, and the official result source is HLTV.
Map handicap markets create a separate question from the overall match result: a team can win a map without covering a large round spread, or lose narrowly and still beat a handicap. In a best-of-series setting like this, map order, veto advantage, and the strength of each side on the specific map can matter more than the headline matchup alone. The disagreement here is not about who wins the series, but whether Monte can produce a lopsided enough Map 2 score to clear a 9.5-round cushion.
The biggest drivers are the map veto and any roster or role changes that affect which maps are played in the series. If the first map is long, close, or forces a tiring series, that can matter for Map 2 round margins, while a one-sided earlier map may also signal momentum or weakness. Because this is a round handicap, late-round economy swings, overtime, and whether the teams’ preferred maps land in Map 2 are all directly relevant to the final price.

View marketThe current market price implies roughly a 0% chance for the leading outcome, based on live Polymarket pricing. That number is not a prediction from PredictionNinja and it is not a guarantee; it is the current crowd-priced view of the market and can change quickly when new information appears.
The key thing to verify is that Map 2 is actually played to completion, because the rules say the market only resolves on a completed map with a final round score; otherwise it can settle 50-50 in specific edge cases. Readers should also check HLTV for the official final Map 2 score, since that is the stated source of truth, and note that any later forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default does not change the result if Map 2 was already completed. The description is truncated at the end, so it is worth confirming the full resolution wording on the market page in case the timing language around delayed results matters.

This market is currently listed with an end date of Jun 8, 2026. Market timelines can change if the underlying event is postponed, rescheduled, or resolved early.
This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between Monte and BetBoom Team in the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, initially scheduled for June 8 at 10:30AM ET. This market is decided solely by the round score of Map 2 of this match, and is independent of which team wins Map 2 or the overall match. This market will resolve to "Monte" if Monte wins Map 2 by 10 or more rounds, including any overtime (i.e. Monte's round total on Map 2 exceeds BetBoom Team's by 10 or more). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "BetBoom Team". Map 2 must be played to completion, with a final round score determined by rounds actually played, for this market to resolve to a team. If Map 2 is completed in this way, the market resolves on that round score regardless of how the remainder of the match concludes (including any later forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default). If Map 2 is not played at all, is not played to completion, or is decided by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default rather than by rounds played to a conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50. If the match is canceled, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without Map 2 being completed, this market will resolve 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead, including video evidence.
