This market is about who wins Map 2 in the Counter-Strike match between Monte and BetBoom Team at IEM Cologne Major Stage 2. Because the map result can differ from the overall match result, this is a narrower question than simply asking who wins the series, and it depends on what happens on the second map specifically.
The event is the Round 4 match listed as Monte vs BetBoom Team in IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, initially scheduled for June 8 at 10:30AM ET. The market resolves to Monte if Monte win Map 2, and to BetBoom Team if BetBoom Team win Map 2, regardless of how the rest of the match goes. If Map 2 is not completed, the market goes 50-50; if the match is canceled or delayed more than 7 days without starting, it also resolves 50-50.
Map-by-map markets stay uncertain even when one side looks overwhelmingly favored on the page, because a single Counter-Strike map can swing on vetoes, side selection, pistol rounds, and momentum. Monte and BetBoom Team are the named teams in a major-stage setting, so the exact map and the match format matter more here than broad team reputation alone. The market is pricing a very strong expectation for Monte on this specific map, but the final outcome still depends on official match play.
Any official change to the series state can move this market, especially confirmation that Map 2 has started, been completed, or been abandoned. Map veto information, roster substitutions, pauses that lead to an unfinished map, or a schedule change at IEM Cologne could all matter because the rules treat an incomplete Map 2 differently from a finished one. If the match is delayed past the seven-day cutoff or never begins, resolution shifts away from the in-game result and to a 50-50 settlement.
The current market price implies roughly a 100% chance for the leading outcome, based on live Polymarket pricing. That number is not a prediction from PredictionNinja and it is not a guarantee; it is the current crowd-priced view of the market and can change quickly when new information appears.

View marketThe key thing to verify is the official result for Map 2, not just the series winner, because the market settles on the second map only. The description says the resolution source is HLTV, with credible reporting or video evidence only if HLTV has not posted final results within two hours after the event ends. Readers should also check whether the match actually started on June 8 as scheduled, since cancellation, prolonged delay, or an incomplete map changes how the market resolves.
