This market is about the Counter-Strike match between Monte and BetBoom Team at IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, with the result judged on a map handicap rather than just the outright winner. Because the line is set at BB (-1.5) vs Monte (+1.5), the key question is whether BetBoom Team can win by at least two maps, which usually means a very lopsided best-of series.
The event is the Round 4 match between Monte and BetBoom Team in the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, initially scheduled for June 8 at 10:30AM ET. For this market to resolve to BetBoom Team, BB must win the series by 2 or more maps; otherwise it resolves to Monte. The market description also makes clear that forfeits, disqualifications, walkovers, and defaults count toward the handicap if the match is completed, while a canceled match, a tie, or a delay beyond 7 days without a winner leads to 50-50.
This market centers on a single esports question: can BetBoom Team create enough of a map gap to cover a +/−1.5 handicap, or will Monte keep the series close enough to avoid that outcome? In Counter-Strike, that depends not just on overall team strength but on the format, veto process, map pool comfort, and whether either side can take control early on its preferred maps. Readers should pay attention to whether the match is a best-of-two or best-of-three under the event rules, since that determines how realistic a two-map margin is.
Any confirmed change to the match format, schedule, or lineup can matter here, especially if a roster substitution affects map veto strength or team coordination. Map selection is also important: a team that is strong on its own pick, or weak on the opponent’s best maps, can swing the handicap quickly even if the teams look close on paper. If the match begins with one side taking the early maps cleanly, that is especially relevant because this market depends on the final map margin, not simply who advances or wins the series.

View marketThe current market price implies roughly a 0% chance for the leading outcome, based on live Polymarket pricing. That number is not a prediction from PredictionNinja and it is not a guarantee; it is the current crowd-priced view of the market and can change quickly when new information appears.
The most important source of truth is official result information from HLTV, which the market specifies for resolution, with credible reporting or video evidence only if HLTV has not posted final results within two hours after the match ends. Before resolution, readers should verify the exact match completion status, any forfeits or walkovers, and whether the series was actually finished as played. It is also worth checking the scheduled start time and the 7-day delay rule, because an unplayed or unresolved match can force a 50-50 outcome instead of a standard win for either side.

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 4 match between Monte and BetBoom Team in the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, initially scheduled for June 8 at 10:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "BetBoom Team" if BetBoom Team wins 2 or more maps than Monte in this match. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Monte". Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default are counted towards the handicap, provided that the match is completed. If the match is canceled (not played at all for any reason), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's match forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match ends due to the clinching map being forfeited this will count as a completed match. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.
