This market is about a specific best-of-three Counter-Strike match: Monte vs BetBoom Team in IEM Cologne Major Stage 2. Because it is a BO3 at a major event, the result depends not just on who is favored overall, but on map vetoes, preparation, and whether one team can consistently win multiple maps in a row.
The question is simple: who wins the Round 4 match between Monte and BetBoom Team at IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, scheduled for June 8 at 10:30AM ET. The listed resolution is straightforward as well: the market resolves to Monte if Monte win the match, and to BetBoom Team if BetBoom Team win. If the match is not played, ends in a tie, or is delayed by more than seven days without a winner, it resolves 50-50; if a match begins but is later decided by forfeit, disqualification, or walkover, the team awarded the win is the winner for resolution.
This market is live because a BO3 between two named teams can swing on a lot of esports-specific variables even within the same tournament stage. Monte and BetBoom Team are both trying to advance through a high-pressure round in a major event, so map pool strength, recent roster form, and side choices can all matter in ways that are hard to price with certainty. The current market setup shows BetBoom Team as the side the market is favoring, but that still leaves room for the match itself to overturn expectations.
Any official change to the matchup itself can move the price, especially if there is a delayed start, a schedule change, or a roster/substitution note before the series begins. Once the match is underway, map one matters a lot in a BO3 because a fast start can reshape expectations for the rest of the series, while a close veto or an underdog map win can quickly narrow the gap. In a tournament setting like IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, form, server-side map picks, and whether either team looks comfortable on the opening maps are the most concrete match-specific factors to watch.

View marketThe current market price implies roughly a 0% chance for the leading outcome, based on live Polymarket pricing. That number is not a prediction from PredictionNinja and it is not a guarantee; it is the current crowd-priced view of the market and can change quickly when new information appears.
The key things to verify are the official match result, whether the series is actually completed, and whether HLTV publishes the final outcome within the resolution window. This market uses HLTV as the primary source of truth, with credible reporting or video evidence only if HLTV has not posted final results within two hours after the event ends. Readers should also pay attention to the special resolution rules around canceled matches, ties, and forfeits, because those cases can resolve differently from a normal on-server win.

This market is currently listed with an end date of Jun 8, 2026. Market timelines can change if the underlying event is postponed, rescheduled, or resolved early.
This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 4 match between Monte and BetBoom Team in the IEM Cologne Major Stage 2, initially scheduled for June 8 at 10:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "Monte" if Monte win the match against BetBoom Team. This market will resolve to "BetBoom Team" if BetBoom Team win the match against Monte. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
